Prayer Warrior Ministries - We've all been there, walking in the valley of the shadow of death. Some of us are in it through bad choices we have made, some through choices others have made that affected us, either way, here we are, and now, the question is,"How long am I going to be here, God?"

That depends on our attitude while we are here, do we rise to the occasion of a trial that we can go through while learning, or do we pitch that tent, and sit a while, ruminating over why we are here, and murmuring about how long we are going to be here, and how hard the rocks are while we are here.

Our attitude through trials can give us insight to what we are really made of. So many times in my own life going through tribulation, I have shouted to God "why?". I learned that when I do that, I cause myself to stay in one place, with no growth.

In the letter of James, we are told to be joyful when trouble comes our way,for as our faith is tested, it is a chance for our endurance to grow,and when it is fully developed, we will be strong in character, and ready for anything!(James 1) In the Psalm of David, he says,"Though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil".(Psalm 23)

That is a cause for celebration,we are only going through that valley, not living in it! Pack up your tent, gather up your roadmap(Bible), and come on through the valley!
