Fruitful Leaders and Team Members

The practical work actions, outlined above, are examples of how each principle can be practiced by leaders and team members in the workplace. Each principle given, however, has unlimited application in daily living in the home and workplace.

These nine principles, suggested for leaders and team members, are known as fruit in the Bible. (Galatians 5:22-23) The Apostle Paul, the inspired writer, says these fruit should be seen in a person's life, in a growing way, when the Spirit of Jesus is at work in our life.

The fruit are consistent with the practice of servant leadership. The foundational fruit among the Fruit of the Spirit is love, and the additional fruits flow from the one principle of LOVE.

Fruit is the result of a life-long desire to be filled with Jesus and His Spirit living within us. A Spirit-filled life in contrast to the list the Apostle Paul writes about in Galatians 5:19-21. Action like:

Immoral ways    Filthy thoughts    Shameful deeds
Witchcraft Hating others Hard to get along with
Being jealous Angry Selfish
Arguing Trouble maker Envious
Carrying on at wild parties

After this list, Paul instructs that, “No one who does these things will share in the blessings of God’s Kingdom!” Contemporary English Version of the Bible (ABS).

Consider the blessings of knowing Christ, being filled with His Spirit, and daily living and working in business God’s way.
